A Holland Children's Institute celebration honoring those dedicated to improving the lives of Nebraska's children and families. Each year, local honoree(s) are selected to receive a Holland Heroes Award. This year, we honor: Dr. Ali S. Khan, dean for the College of Public Health and professor for the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). The Mission of the College of Public Health is to promote optimal health and well-being through robust education, research, and service in collaboration with communities in Nebraska, across the country, and around the world.
